An Insight To The Turkish-Romanian Diplomatic Relations: (In)dependence, Nation-State Building and Migration
It is worth noting that the academic literature lacks a comprehensive book dedicated to the diplomatic relations between Turkey and Romania, two important Balkan and Black Sea states. This book aims to examine the Turkish-Romanian relations not only through international relations perspective but also through socio-political and diplomacy history perspectives.
This book will try to bring a new dimension to and highlight the diplomatic and consular aspects of the Turkish-Romanian bilateral relations. This study will also help shed light on novel evidences with regard to the evolution of a migration diplomacy between Turkey and Romania during their nation-state building processes.
It is also worth noting that the literature with regard to the Turkish-Romanian relations lacks a comprehensive study in English and thus a more accessible source for larger audiences. This book aims to fill this gap as well. It is envisaged that this book will be a unique and genuine study in the field of the Turkish-Romanian diplomatic relations and will constitute a source of reference for scholars, diplomats, researchers and students.
